    Default Drain pipe installation do-able?

The actual site my home is situated on is a bench of land, but our road slopes. Water runs down the slope and under the road. I'm thinking about installing a drain pipe under the road. Is that something doable with the road already in?

It's probably doable, but it may not be something you want to attempt on your own. A good way to go may be to solicit some bids from contractors that do roadwork and pick their brains about it. I'd check with about 5 guys first.

You're probably right about not messing with it myself. I think I will start making calls and getting some ball park estimates, then in the spring when the water is draining off and the ground is soft, take action on it.
