My wife gave me a new smoker for Christmas this year. It's a propane one from cabelas. Any hints or tips would be great. Reading thru the manual it basically says after its "seasoned" to put meat in it, water and wood chips and turn it on to about 225 degrees and let it cook. Looking in my freezer I still have a couple turkeys, a pork butt and some roasts(don't know the cut).
