The white tails around here are so used to people that they routinely nibble the apple tree within spitting distance of my porch. My four dogs, all golden retrievers, show no interest in the hooved rodents. But today I figured out that if I throw a tennis ball at the deer, all four dogs bark happily and chase it! The deer, thinking they are being attacked by an entire pack, vanish!

Deer Buster Tonic: 2 eggs, 2 cloves of garlic, 2 tbsp of tabasco sauce, 2 tbsp of cayenne pepper ans 2 cups of water. Pull all into a blender and puree. Let sit 2 days and spray it all over the plants you want to protect.
