Hi all. Just thought I would post this short video (sorry about the fuzzyness!!) . This stupid yellow-bellied sapsucker has been waking me up at 5:21 am (and about every 20 minutes after that) by drilling my trash barrel. I have heard that he's really not looking for food, he's just "marking his territory" and letting the other local birds know that this is HIS home! Ah well, country life! this short video

Besides older folk should be getting up early and enjoying the nicest part of the day!

Do they make a high temperature, spray-in bed liner for pick up trucks? If so, some of that would be in order for the exterior of your trash barrel.
