Does anyone use a owl decoy to scare hawks away?

They are both predator animals, why does this work, if it does. Does anyone else have a something better that works?

Never heard of it keeping hawks away. Pigeons and other small birds for a short time unless you move the decoy regularly if you don't they will soon ignore it.

I also never heard of that,but I use owl decoy to keep the crows away...gotta feeling the crows know its a fake now tho.

I just thought of this, will the owl decoy deter other owls or attact them?
