After starting my mower and mowing a short distance, stopped to open gateinto back yard. Motor dies when releasing brake pedal. Where is the safety switch located and can it be bypassed? Thanks in advance porkchop

Usually there's one under the seat so that your weight on the seat will keep the tractor running.

Also one on the blade brake and reverse systems. The brake/clutch pedal interlock should be located towards the rear of the pedal rod. But bypassing any of them will void your warranty and safety claims!

Hi,
It only takes ...but a split second to engage the parking brake and you can "dismount" while leaving the unit running...
(you don't want the unit to roll away... do ya?)

Trust me - you don't. Luckily no one was hurt, but man did I feel like a moron chasing my lawn tractor as it took off at near full throttle in 3rd gear.
