This dude has showed up the last 2 winters to feed. I suppose it is just genetics that made him turn out with the white cape. But i like to tell people we have a silverback squirrel that comes to visit.
I really don't know what the proper name is. We have "reds" and " grays" . The smaller gray ones tend to run out the red ones. Sometimes in the winter there will be as many as 10 squirrels feeding at once right out side the kitchen, they put on quite a show. Old grand dad the silverback don't take any guff
