Top of the Mountain
      12/31/03 08:43 AM Attachment

I have received a scanner for Xmas. Now it's time to try it out and bore everyone with pictures.

Wow! All I can say is those are a bit more impressive than our ancient, worn down Green Mountains!

Those are some mountains! What are the guy wires attached to the corners of the house?

Probably is something related to snow. Forgive my ignorance, I've never been in real snow country.

Picture is too low resolutiion, I can't tell if you have tungsten studs in the tires.

No studs but used good old gopher skins for traction.

Egon, I could get you some armadillo armor (I assume you don't have an abundance of these beasties.) The way they segment and flex, they could be used similar to gopher skins but with more of a "variable paddle tire" geometry for better traction than with gopher skins. An added benefit is greater mileage.

I think that's one of the most beautiful pictures I've ever seen! You are so lucky to be in such places. I took my first ski trip in Feb. and it took my breath away! Absolutly one of the most incredible things I've ever experienced and we were on a small mountain! But hey for me it was Mt. Everest.
