Back in December when the Charlotte area had an ice storm and 1 million were without power, another couple, the boss and I went to Boone/Blowing Rock area. There was electricity there. There was 13 inches of snow on the ground, temp was about 6 degrees, but the Arturo Fuente's were excellent. Sugar Mountain ski slopes are behind us.

Hey Gary, why are you all dressed up like the Michelin Man? Looks like wet, heavy snow which means the temp must have been in the high 20s or low 30s. T-shirt weather!
Interesting that it's called Sugar Mountain. Up here everything with "sugar" in the name is covered with sugar maples. What's it mean down there?

This is second try at a reply.
I think it's called Sugar Mtn. because of the snow looking like sugar.
It was a little chilly.... 6 degrees. Those are 32 minute smokes there!!! The wife waited until we were 30 minutes into them before she took the picture!!! She did bring us a refill, though....
