Here are some photos of my property on Saturday, April 5. We held my father's funeral  the night before and then suffered several days without power along with 150,000 other households. I guess he wanted to give us something to remember him by  .

Good pictures. Sorry to hear about your father. Perhaps an odd coincidence is that the longest power outage we ever had (only about 8 hours) was the morning of my dad's funeral in '96.

JM III. It is a fact of life and we move on, but friends to share it with make the loss easier, or should I say more tolerable to deal with. I am extremely lucky to have found the friends that I have over the course of my life, both here and on TP, as well as the endless flow of those that attended the funeral on that cold, wet, icy night.
