Fuel Line Freezing - Oil Furnace

Hi,
It's been a while since I've posted. We have an oil furnace heating our barn but the line keeps freezing recently. The fuel won't come through from the tank to the furnace. The furnace is fine. We use home deisel fuel. We added anti-gel liquid to evaporate water which is what we feel is frozen in the tank or line. But it's still not coming through. What can we do? It's extremely cold and we need it working. Help!!

Have you tried changing filters and blowing out the fuel line to make sure it is clear?
Any water in the tank?
If really bad how about a very small new tank [ 5 gallon pail ] with a attachment for a fuel line?

Haven't tried changing the filter. When you say, blowing out the fuel line do you mean blowing back towards the tank? With an air compressor? We've put that anti-gel liquid. Since it's diesel...should we try fuel line antifreeze?
It definitely has water in the tank so it must have froze in the filter or in the line because we tried sucking the fuel and we just received a drop but nothing more. Love this in the freezing cold.

All the neat things happen at best of times.
How accessible is the line. If it is cover it with rags and then pour hot water over it.
Another approach would be a heat gun used for paint removal to blow hot air on it.
You may also check at the fuel filter to see if any fuel comes out of it. Also consider moving the filter inside where it's warm. [ If that is allowable. ]
Also drain some fuel from the bottom of the tank if there is water present.
If all else fails run a new line if that's possible. Might be easier on the ears and quicker than thawing the old line.
Consider a holiday to warmer climate??

You might also want to consider a two line fuel system. After going through the fuel filter the excess fuel that is not used bypasses and gets pumped back into the tank.
