Grass over drain field brown

We've had 6" of rain this month and now I'm noticing that the drain field for my septic have all brown grass over them. What would cause this?

Okay; That is why the grass is brown. When the area drys up all will return to normal.

Well, after two "dry" days the lawn is getting a bit of color back

My neighbor's grass used to die over the drain field too. I told them it had something to do with the spicy food they were eating!
