STEPS FOR WOOD PORCH--BRICK OR WOOD?

I am in the process of replacing wooden steps to my back porch (porch is 10x40). Porch is 42" off ground. I really like the look of brick steps, but am really not sure how to get started. Any suggestions?

I'd go with wood for two reasons. I think brick would look out of place going to a wood porch with no other brick around and wood is way easier.
