Using herbicide containers for feeding
      08/18/05 11:11 PM

A neighbor of mine gave me some 55 gallon plastic containers that contained herbicide to use for feeders for hay for my sheep. I am concerened about some residual chemicals causing problems for the sheep, or my family when we eat the meat.
Any one have any knowledge about this?
Appreciate your input.
Thanks.

Tractor Supply Company sells a powdered product that cleans and neutralizes chemicals from spraying. I use it in my sprayers when I change from herbacide to insecticide, or fertilizer. It works real well. No plants have died after using it.
