Or I should have called the subject "Why I support genetic engineering.."
My place is south of Houston. Hot, muggy, flat, but with gorgeous trees. Anyway, now that you know the general area, this is what I want the Aggies at Texas A&M to genetically engineer:
1. Black Angus cattle that thrive on poison ivey, rag weed, and blood weed! 2. A Bing Cherry tree that will grow and produce in my climate. 3. Rainbow, Brook, or Brown trout that will thrive in my stagnant, coffee colored, 85 degF pond.
I am a simple man with simple wants

Simple wants? Yes, but probably much more difficult, and much more expensive, than putting a man on the moon.

Don't forget the law of unintended consequences... We created the iron horse, and now look what we have. With the good comes the bad. I do not mean that as a political statement but as an example of unintended consequences. I don't want anyone misunderstanding my harmless statement.
