I'm unfamiliar with the WizBang unit, but if it's the kind with the rubber fingers on a drum that's rotated by an electric motor, I've seen them used and they work OK.
With thin skinned birds it's said to be easy to tear the skin, but maybe that's a learning issue.
The one I saw had a place to hook up a shop vac to capture the feathers.

Gary, Did it have an attachment to hook up to a chipper shredder and a leaf blower to fill pillows?

No it didn't, but that's a fine idea!
I'm not going to repeat the whole story, but you've probably read the one about the fellows who were going to start a cat ranch to sell the skins to make coats. They had it all figured out. They'd raise the cats then skin them. The cats would be fed rats that they'd also raise. The rats would be fed the waste from the cats skinning. Almost perpetual motion!

That's very interesting. One thing I'm not clear on, and as I don't raise chickens it doesn't really matter. Is the tub on that thing filled with water, or does water flow through it. I'd guess the answer is yes because of the "feather discharge chute.

I'm not positive, but I don't think the tub with the rubber fingers in it have any water in it. He used the smaller end of the drum he cut off to scald the birds and somehow set a turkey fryer under it to heat the water.
