Honey bees?

This looks like the closest forum for honey bee questions.... Does anyone have a beehive or two? Where do you get your supplies? Where did you get your bees? Also, how much time per week are you spending caring for your bees. We just came back from the county fair and there was a bee exhibit which got me thinking.... We are in the Houston Tx area and wondering if there are any people in the general area with bees. I am also wondering how much of a pain Africanized bees are causing local beekeepers....
