I was pleasantly surprised to find a buy 2 get 1 free coupon for this product in Oct Western Horseman mag. My stud horse goes through 12 lbs of this expensive feed per day. If any of you kind country brethren should happen across one of these coupons and don't have use for it, please post to:

Purina Mills has an email club too. You can sign up at your local feed store and they will send you coupons and specials.

So Land O Lakes just took over Purina, they were one of the partners blamed for bankrupting Farmland. The way my wife is collecting these @$10 coupons off of magazine stands she may bankrupt Purina. Save your stamps folks.

I realize I won't probably won't get face value for the coupons. It's always a barter process when I go to the feed store. Head straight into the warehouse and take inventory of busted bags and floor sweepings for the chickens. Bring your favorite dock worker some catfish filets and a couple of busted sacks of catfish pellets magically appear in your truck while your in the store. Bring some vegetables and they'll load you up with damaged fertilizer. On product like sweet feed milled on location I always make sure I get the freshest lot or a discount on an older lot. They won't budge much on Purina product but a handful of coupons will be worth something. I finally got my hay all in, bought at a discount from a farmer who only calls me when he has hay on the ground on a weekday and is desperate for someone to haul it quick. We're a bit obsessed with making two consecutive years of per horse cost below $1k for feed, farrier, vet and meds.

Yea you'd have to be a bit obsessed and awful lucky to get costs below $1k/year.
