flying Farolitos

When my family and I visited Santa Fe ,NM a few years ago at Christmas , We saw "flying Farolitos" that night as we walked .It was beautiful to watch these lights floating across the night sky . Does anyone know how to make these? I would love to do this for my wife for Christmas . I tried doing a Google search ,but came up with nothing .

Take a look at this link Hot Air I recently saw (TV) a Tiawan celebration where thousands of these were launched. Fuels range from candles to Sterno

Thank you ! This is exactly what I was looking for and saw in Santa Fe . WE have a 45 acre ranch in the snow country ,so I am not worried about Fire Hazard .
