    Default Good careers?

A couple of my grandchildren (one a boy, one a girl) are approaching college in a couple of years. I'd like to try to help guide them into careers that are stable and secure with abundant opportunities. Based on your experience, what would you recommend?

I think it depends on their talents and interests. What about being a veterinarian (I used to dream of it when I was a child)? A career as a veterinarian maybe not so lucrative as that of a doctor though.

I am not sure if this is a regional need, but Physcal Therapists seem to be in a very big demand. As our baby boomer population is getting older, it is hoped they will always enjoy the best of health. But sometimes there are physical conditions that can affect that quality of life. Heart attacks, stroke, accidents, arthritis and the list continues. So all types of therapists are needed to help patients have a better outcome with their health.
