Default Functional landscape uses of flowering shrubs

Many landscaping experts suggest that planting flowering trees in the landscape has got many advantages. Other than ornamental functions they have many more functional uses as well which make them the favorite of landscaping artists. During property inspections Sydney inspection experts and landscaping advisers recommend the planting of flowering trees pointing out many reasons. It is a wonderful idea to plant flowering shrubs on either side of an entryway to help direct the eyes of your neighbors and passersby to it. But when you choose flowering shrubs to plant in the entry, always choose a variety of shrubs with interesting foliage to add the attraction and this will help the entryway get a gorgeous look beyond the spring season. Also, you could use flowering shrubs as foundation plantings which is used to hide a high house foundation but here also, you should be concerned with foliage as you are with flowers. Another functional duty of flowering shrubs is that they could be planted near a home to soften the landscape, breaking up vertical or horizontal lines that are too strong.
Most of the people are concerned about the most important function of these shrubs such as to be effective barriers in controlling erosion. Also it is a good idea to plant flowering dogwood trees and shrubs with attractive foliage to indicate the border of two properties. Also, within our property they could be used to define distinct outdoor spaces. The aesthetic appearance of a drive way could be changed if you plant them in the borders. There are many taller flowering shrubs like some of the larger varieties of magnolia offer very good shade and therefore could be used to be planted in borders and driveways.

This is a very good informative post. I like planting flowering shrubs on the boarder of our property. they also serve as fence, and as you say they define the border.
