We are having a plague of slugs in our area this year. They are everywhere! Does anyone have any idea how to get rid of them naturally without the use of chemicals?

Pour some beer into a shallow container. This will get rid of them. Another thing is sprinkle salt on them, kills them fast...

Nue2farm's suggestion about beer in shallow containers is the best. Be sure to put them out in the evenings at places where the slugs can smell them. You have to catch them first if you will sprinkle salt on them.
The beer tip is something I never heard before - thanks! It sounds funny too. I'm picturing a bunch of drunk slugs wandering around in the garden, lol.
