    Default Investing for Dummies

I would like to invest a little savings I have. I would love to see my money grow even if it is moderately. Is this a good time for doing it? What should I invest in?

What about investing in gold? I think it's a good and safe way of investing especially for beginning investors who are not savvy with stock trading (me included).

Gold is good but don't forget silver. Historically speaking it's undervalued right now. Silver is also good because it dosent cost more to get it in smaller ammounts like rounds (1oz coins). For stocks you can't go wrong with world dominators that pay a hefty dividen. I.e. Microsoft buy under 25$, intel buy under 20$, and cisco buy under 16$. I get this stuff from free investment news letters like stansbury & associates.
