    Default String Bean Fail

I put out a whole field of string beans and just went back to till through them. I just have two rows which came up. I was counting on bringing these to the farmer's market but I guess we will just be using them for our own canning. Any idea why 90% of the crop failed to germinate? It was fresh seed from Southern States.

We had the same problem with our pole beans. They just didn't take and the ones that did didn't amount to anything. I love fresh green beans so it was a huge disappointment. It could have just been the seed, it more than likely is always the seed when a lot of it doesn't come up.
